Vindhya Shiksha Samiti, Balaghat is committed to providing quality education to all children — from Nursery to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and professional courses including medical and technical streams. The society broadly works in the areas of:

• Higher education, skill development, and training
• Prevention or relief of poverty
• Youth empowerment and sustainable livelihood programs
• Grant-making to allied organizations
• Advocacy, advice, and information dissemination

Located in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, Vindhya Shiksha Samiti has been working relentlessly for the upliftment of students and empowering them through education and training. At present, more than 5,000 students receive world-class education from Nursery to Post-Graduation and are being prepared to become change agents and quality human resources for India.

Earlier, many students in the region were vulnerable to disruptive forces and ultras, often lured with small amounts of money. Through education, skill training, “Earn while you Learn” schemes, job placement support after completion of studies, and sustainable livelihood programs, Vindhya Shiksha Samiti has significantly reduced this social menace and helped transform the lives of youth and their families.

Establishment of Sardar Patel University

The Sardar Patel University — a State Private University — was established by Vindhya Shiksha Samiti under the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Sanshodhan Adhiniyam, 2018 (Act No. 26 of 2018). It received the assent of the Governor on 23 July 2018 and was first published in the “Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extraordinary)” on 28 July 2018.
