The S. M. Deo Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Balaghat is the first institution of its kind in the Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. Established in 2020 by Vindhya Shiksha Samiti, Balaghat — the sponsoring body — it serves as a constituent unit of Sardar Patel University, Balaghat, a State Private University recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
